EDUCATION
Judge Chapman is a fifth generation Ellis County native. He graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1984. He received a B.B.A. from Southern Methodist in 1988 and a J.D. from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 1991. He obtained an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management in 2001 and earned a Distinction in coursework at the Yale Law School as part of the M.B.A. program.

He is a recipient of the Leadership Waxahachie Award and was elected to the Waxahachie High School Ex-Students Hall of Fame.
