UPDATE TO HIGHWAY CLOSURE NOTICE: Westbound U.S. 287 from Midlothian Parkway will be closed tonight (1/22) starting at 9:00 p.m. for the removal of a large wind turbine. The highway is not closed as of 1:00 p.m. on 1/22 but will be closed starting at 9:00 p.m. for the removal. Eastbound traffic will remain unaffected.
HIGHWAY CLOSURE NOTICE: Westbound U.S. 287 is currently closed at Midlothian Parkway due to a large accident involving an 18-wheeler and a large wind turbine. TxDOT and the Midlothian Police Department are re-routing traffic onto Main Street (U.S. 287 Business) through Midlothian. Eastbound traffic on U.S. 287 is not affected.
