The Ellis County Commissioners’ Court will hold a public hearing on the FY2022-2023 Budget on September 6, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Historic Ellis County Courthouse, Commissioners’ Courtroom (2nd floor),101 W. Main Street, Waxahachie, Texas.
As proposed, this budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by an amount of $4,934,547 which is a 7.95% percent increase, and of that amount $4,274,880 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
