ENNIS – A project to repair and resurface FM 85 as well as add 3-foot-wide shoulders is expected to kick off in mid-March.
The 8.4 mile long section stretches from I-45 to FM 1182.
Work will require various daytime lane closures scheduled during off-peak hours throughout the duration of the project. The project is expected to be substantially complete in April of 2018.
Big Creek Construction Ltd. is the contractor on the $12.8 million project.
