Dear Neighbors,
I was hoping to be able to tell you that the northbound IH 35E traffic switch would occur tomorrow, but the recent rains and wet conditions have hampered our efforts to complete the prerequisite pavement work. I am also guilty of being overly optimistic regarding the progress that would be made over the last two weeks. Our current objective is to make the switch before Thanksgiving, but much work must be done between now and then. I will reassess the project status late next week and let you know how things are shaping up.
